Gildan to expand into entire 900,000-square-foot NorthPort Logistics Center

The activewear manufacturer distributes its U.S. clothing from three U.S. locations, including North Jacksonville.

With a permit issued April 29, Gildan Activewear Inc. is expanding in NorthPort Logistics Center to fully occupy the more than 872,000-square-foot building at 11530 New Berlin Road in North Jacksonville.

It is a $732,735 construction project.

The city issued the permit for Jacksonville-based Tenant Contractors Inc. to make improvements to more than 445,000 square feet of space next to the almost other half of the building Gildan already uses as a distribution center.
