Over 1,000 turned out Thursday evening at Metropolitan Park for the annual Hob Nob political rally sponsored by the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce. The event was held under the large tent that covers the Metro Park stage and the VIP area behind it, and the evening’s threat of rain didn’t hold the crowd down. Candidates set up tables on the risers and tables were set up on the floor for eating and drinking.
