Donna Harper resigns from JTA board

Donna Harper, chair of the Jacksonville Transportation Authority board, resigned at this afternoon’s board meeting.

Harper said she would leave at the end of May unless Gov. Rick Scott doesn't have a replacement for her.

According to JTA’s website, Harper has been a board member for 12 years. She previously was on the board from 1999-2007, serving in all positions including chairman from 2002-04.

She also has served as the agency’s representative for the North Florida Transportation Planning Organization.

Harper is the chief executive officer of Systems Logics Company LLC.
