Chief Judge Mark Mahon announced Wednesday that the Duval County Courthouse will remain closed through Friday because of the continued closure of public schools, flooding concerns, and the lack of electricity in parts of Duval County.

As a result, all offices of the Duval County Clerk’s Office also will remain closed Thursday and Friday.

That includes the courthouse and the Clerk’s Office Beaches branch at 1543 Atlantic Blvd.
