Permit in review for Dunkin' Donuts at Beach and Hodges

The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing a permit for a Dunkin' Donuts at Hodges Station at northwest Beach and Hodges boulevards. Taylor & White Inc. is the project engineer. Dunkin' Donuts plans a restaurant at the site, next to the existing Bojangles' Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits.

The Daily Record reported Sept. 24 that Dunkin' Donuts was eyeing the site. Plans show a 1,800-square-foot restaurant with a drive-thru on 0.44 acre. Taylor & White Inc. is the agent and CHR HS Bojangles LLC and JLR HS Bojangles LLC, of Asheville, N.C., are the property owners.

It's one of several new Dunkin' Donuts planned in the area. The dunkindonuts.com website lists 20 Jacksonville locations already.
