Wednesday afternoon at the Radisson Riverwalk Hotel, hundreds gathered for the 11th annual JaxPride Ideas and Actions luncheon. At the event, awards were given and Jacksonville’s future discussed.

“It’s an honor to see so many faces in the crowd,” said City Council member Suzanne Jenkins, also JaxPride’s new executive director. “Working together we can create the blue print that we can follow as Jacksonville becomes more developed.”

Jenkins later issued a report that was compiled following a special Southbank workshop in February. The report outlined what developers and community stakeholders would like to see happen in that portion of downtown.

A copy of the report is available on JaxPride’s website at www.jaxpride.org.
