The motto of the national Lawyers in Libraries program is “because libraries are at the heart of our communities and justice is at the heart of our democracy.” Local attorney Latoya Williams devoted an hour of her time Thursday at the Main Library Downtown to help people understand how the justice system works. She covered topics such as how to find information about the court system and courtroom procedure and etiquette.
