Lenny Curry raises $568,000 in June for mayoral bid

In 27 days, Jacksonville mayoral candidate Lenny Curry raised $568,730 in his challenge against Mayor Alvin Brown.

Curry’s political action committee, Together for a Greater Jacksonville, brought in $408,100. His campaign account raised $160,630. That includes $29,200 through Curry’s website, lennycurryformayor.com.

Curry's campaign finance chairman is Marty Fiorentino, a Jacksonville lobbyist.

Brown raised more than $93,000 through his state committee in June. The month was broken down from June 1-20, when Brown raised $68,500 and June 21-27, when he raised $24,750. The committee has raised nearly $868,000.

Brown’s local contributions have not yet been posted and aren’t due until Thursday. As of last month, he had raised nearly $445,000.

City Council member Bill Bishop, also a candidate for mayor, has raised $28,600. His latest report is not out.
