Fourth Judicial Circuit: Duval, Clay and Nassau counties, membership of 2,100 attorneys.

Biggest challenge
To create added value for our members in an economic downturn while improving our community through law-related public service.

Biggest satisfaction
Developing and implementing the Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Program for the Fourth Judicial Circuit.  This program seeks to bring borrowers in foreclosure cases to mediation with their lenders to determine if an agreement can be structured that will be satisfactory to both parties.

Hometown
Parkersburg, W.Va.

First experience with community service
Member of the board of directors of the Lexington Humane Society in Kentucky during the 1980s.

Your job before The JBA
Executive director of the Nashville Bar Association for nine years, executive director of the Fayette County (Lexington, Ky.) Bar Association for 17 years.
