Regency Olive Garden to be rebuilt

Olive Garden in Regency is set for reconstruction. A site development manager with Darden Restaurants Inc., which owns the Olive Garden chain, submitted construction plans to the city to rebuild the restaurant at 9465 Atlantic Blvd., across the street from Regency Square Mall. Plans show the existing building, destroyed by fire in January, will be demolished and a new, smaller one will be developed to replace it. The new Olive Garden Italian Kitchen will be 7,930 square feet and will be built as part of the chain’s new prototype Olive Garden.
