YMCA charter school buries time capsule

The YMCA’s charter school, Tiger Academy, marked its first year this week buy placing several items in a time capsule that will be buried on the campus of the Northwest Jacksonville school that caters to pre-K through second grade. The time capsule included a copy of Wednesday’s Florida Times-Union, a school roster and several other things. Tiger Academy Board member Cleve Warren and school principal Tangela Johnson also unveiled photos of the students.
