• Opus Capital Market Consultants LLC said it is hiring 50 mortgage loan underwriters for its new office in Southside. The company said it is leasing about 4,500 square feet of space in the Concourse III building at 5200 Belfort Road. Expansion is possible, it said. The office is scheduled to open June 1 and training for new employees starts this month at another location. In addition to the Jacksonville office, Opus has operations in Fort Lauderdale and in the states of California, New York, Washington and Wisconsin. It is based in Lincolnshire, Ill., near Chicago.
• Crossman & Company has been named exclusive leasing and management representative for Regency Pointe, a retail center at 9428 Arlington Expressway. President John Crossman said Regency Pointe includes 67,476 square feet of retail space anchored by the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant and Visionworks optical center. Regency Pointe is 52 percent leased. Crossman & Company analyst Rochelle Dubrule is the leasing contact.
