Fiserv calls for a drop of 6.9 percent by next year’s first quarter. Jacksonville fared worse than the U.S., where prices dropped 28.7 percent from 2007 to 2010, rose 2 percent over the past year and are predicted to fall 4.9 percent by next year. “The stabilization of residential real estate markets will take many years,” said Fiserv economist David Stiff.
