This year’s Gala — Havana Nights — is earlier than in past years and excitement is already growing.
The event features an open bar, dinner, prizes, casino games and a silent auction.
The fun begins at 7 p.m., Sept. 23, at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. Dress is black tie optional.
Tickets are $125 per person and include a chance for a grand prize trip for two to fabulous Costa Rica. That prize, valued at $5,000, comes with airfare and a five-night all-inclusive resort stay.
Tickets are on sale from any board member or NEFBA staff. Sponsorships with special perks are still available.
Next on tap is NEFBA’s annual Beast Feast.
From the night-life finery of the Gala, change your attire for the outside barbecue treat that is an opportunity to meet and discuss issues with local and state elected officials and civil servants involved in the building industry.
From 5-8 p.m. Oct. 6, the NEFBA parking lot will be transformed into a social-political-networking event with entertainment, food, drinks and a chance to meet your representatives in local and state government and other friends of the industry and NEFBA.
Perhaps not as glamorous as the Gala or celebrity-studded as Beast Feast, another important event takes place early in September.
Meet the Builder is 5-7 p.m. Sept. 8 at the NEFBA office.
This smaller and low-key event is perhaps the best opportunity of the year for associates to have face-to-face access with NEFBA’s builder members.
