The Bench Bar Fund of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida sponsored a Fourth of July art contest for Sanctuary on 8th Street summer camp students.

After discussing the freedoms, rights and privileges that make America unique, the students created art to show what “freedom” means to them.

The winners were invited to the U.S. Bryan Simpson Courthouse for a tour and lunch with the judges.

The contest was part of a civics outreach initiative by the Bench Bar Fund.
