The former Lerner Building at 20 W. Adams St. Downtown is under renovation for use by Florida State College at Jacksonville, which intends to lease the six-story building for student housing and a ground-floor Culinary Café.
The city issued a permit Wednesday for Danis Construction LLC to complete exterior repairs, including reconditioning the brick front, waterproofing and caulking windows.
The permit lists the project cost at $400,000.
