First Watch is planning its fourth area restaurant in Jacksonville, intending to open in the Shoppes at Bartram Park.
A Conditional Capacity Availability Statement application with the city approved Aug. 23 shows First Watch would open at the center at 13820 Old St. Augustine Road.
Jacksonville-based Regency Centers Corp. owns the center, but does not include it on the tenant list of the 126,462-square-foot collection of stores and restaurants.
First Watch is shown as the tenant for a new 3,500-square-foot building on 0.33 acre.
England, Thims & Miller Inc. is the civil engineer. Bartram Park Center LLC, whose managing member is Regency Centers L.P., is the property owner.
Concurrency requires that before any proposed development can obtain a final development order in Jacksonville, it must be demonstrated that its impact to public infrastructure can be adequately absorbed.
The Shoppes is anchored by Publix Super Markets and a Kohl’s department store.
First Watch operates in the Riverplace shopping center at 11111-14 San Jose Blvd.; in Hodges Pointe Plaza at 13470 Beach Blvd.; and in the South Beach Regional Shopping Center at 544-4 Marsh Landing Blvd. in Jacksonville Beach.
First Watch, based in University Park in South Florida, specializes in made-to-order breakfast, brunch and lunch.
It says it is the largest and fastest-growing daytime-only restaurant concept in the U.S. with more than 280 restaurants in 26 states.
