Early last month, the Florida Home Builders Association held its annual Fall Leadership Conference and announced the winners of the 2016 awards.
FHBA awards advance the purposes of the association by recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of industry leaders. Award recipients exemplify the best in industry standards for excellence in design and marketing.
NEFBA is proud to announce the FHBA Builder of the Year Award was given to Lee Arsenault, New Leaf Construction, and NEFBA’s 2017 president.
Arsenault, however, was unable to attend the conference to accept the award. His daughter was busy that night, having a baby.
He was actually presented the Builder of the Year Award at the November NEFBA board meeting. The award recognizes a leader in the industry who continuously exhibits best practices, phenomenal leadership qualities and expertise in the field.
FHBA Builders of the Year are selected annually by the FHBA Past Second Vice Presidents’ Council and announced at the Fall Leadership Conference.
“It was an honor for me to be able to present Lee with the prestigious FHBA Builder of the Year Award,” said NEFBA President Chet Skinner. “As much as I’ve enjoyed being president this year, I’m very pleased to be passing leadership to someone as capable and wise as Lee Arsenault. And, this award certainly confirms Lee’s capabilities.”
NEFBA Executive Officer Corey Deal agreed.
“What a way to end a great year and it’s a good omen for Lee’s installation next month as our new president,” Deal said.
“Working with Lee as he served on our Executive Committee has given me a deep appreciation for his expertise and leadership skills,” Deal said. “We all congratulate him on this FHBA award. Being named Builder of the Year on a state level is quite an honor.”
