The Jacksonville Bar Association hosted a debate last week for candidates running for 4th Judicial Circuit state attorney.

Current State Attorney Angela Corey is being challenged by Melissa Nelson and Wes White, both of whom worked for her.

The JBA was planning for a debate in the public defender's race but incumbent Matt Shirk was unable to attend. His opponent, retired Duval County Court Judge Charles Cofer, shared information about his campaign before the debate began.
