Dear members,

Every season has its own character and appeal. That’s true of the climate — and at NEFBA.

Spring comes to NEFBA with a flurry of activity.

As you look at the calendar, you will see even more opportunities to participate in, contribute to and enjoy the benefits of your membership.

Attracting new and retaining existing members is not a once-a-year event, of course.

Our staff and members do that throughout the year. The membership drive is a concerted effort to add new companies and individuals to our rolls.

We want to retain our position as the largest local homebuilders association in Florida and retain or move up in the nation, where we are ranked fifth in our size category.

That goal is not only for the purpose of bragging rights. Although, admittedly, that’s nice.

That status gives NEFBA a seat at the table in both the state and national associations. It obviously reinforces our voice in local decisions related to the building industry.

We have been very successful in supporting election races of candidates who support regulations and issues favorable to our efforts and mission to provide housing and services to Northeast Florida homeowners.

Advocacy is an important benefit of your NEFBA membership, but not the only one by any means.

Marketing support for new home construction is another benefit builders, developers, designers and other associate members enjoy year around.

Spring is also the season of NEFBA’s Parade of Homes. This annual event gives the public a firsthand tour of the best our members have to offer –– homes, neighborhoods, décor and amenities.

Well publicized and well attended, the Parade is a major benefit to all members for the spotlight it throws on what we do.

I believe your NEFBA membership is a smart investment of your dollars and your time.

With the many networking opportunities, projects that contribute to the community, seminars and workshops that touch on all aspects of improving your bottom line and even cash discounts from other members, your membership pays for itself.

The extent of your benefit is related to the level of your participation. I encourage you to take advantage of all the benefits and make the most of your membership.

Thank you for all you do,
