Josh Roberts has been named executive partner at the Holland & Knight law firm’s Jacksonville office. He will oversee management of the office while continuing his commercial litigation practice.

He succeeds Daniel Bean, who served as executive partner since 2011 and will continue his practice with the firm.

Roberts’ practice comprises civil disputes in the areas of banking, construction, real estate and transportation including jury and non-jury trials, mediation, arbitration and appeals.

He is a graduate of the University of Florida and University of Florida Levin College of Law and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2007.

Roberts chairs The Jacksonville Bar Association’s Litigation Section and serves on the board of directors for the Police Athletic League.

“Josh is a promising attorney who has shown great leadership skills and judgment. We expect him to build on Dan’s legacy while maintaining Holland & Knight’s reputation as the preeminent law firm in Jacksonville,” said Steven Sonberg,  Holland & Knight’s managing partner, in a news release.
