The letters went up Friday on the west side of the Jacksonville Ikea.
The home furnishings retailer is working toward a fall opening at 7801 Gate Parkway near Interstate 295.
The 290,000-square-foot store will feature nearly 10,000 exclusively designed items, 50 room settings, three model-home interiors, a supervised children’s play area, and a 325-seat restaurant serving Swedish specialties and American dishes.
Ikea, which announced plans for its 250-job Jacksonville store Oct. 6, is taking applications for more than 200 full- and part-time jobs.
Ikea said it offers benefits that include full medical and dental insurance to employees working 20 hours or more per week
