The Rogers Towers law firm added two attorneys at its Jacksonville headquarters office.
K. Mac Bracewell Jr. is a shareholder in the Trusts & Estates Department. His practice area focuses on estates, gift and generation-skipping tax issues, philanthropy and asset protection.
He received his undergraduate degree in finance from Auburn University in 2003, his J.D. with honors from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2008 and in 2010, an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
Bracewell is vice chair of the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville Inc. and a member of the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida.
Trace Jackson joined the firm as an associate and will work in the Business and Tax Department, with a focus on intellectual property law.
He received a bachelor’s in mathematics from the University of Florida in 2011, a master’s in engineering science and applied mathematics in 2012 from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s in physics and a J.D. with honors from the University of Florida in 2016.
Jackson was the 2015-16 editor-in-chief of the university’s Florida Law Review.
