Generation Works had hundreds of volunteers participating in a day of service led by women and girls to bring change to neighborhoods.

The event, organized by Generation W, completed a variety of projects at nonprofits throughout the city Saturday.

They built raised garden beds at Angelwood’s Career Development Center.

They sorted new clothing donations for Dignity U Wear. And they did landscaping, mulching and trash pick up at Hemming Park.

In all, they worked at 14 sites in Duval County.
