Margie Seaman represented attorneys Howard Coker, Jake Schickel and Charles Sorenson in the sale of the Herkimer Block building at 136 E. Bay St. Downtown for $3.6 million to Cambridge Harbor Office LLC.

Seaman said her company, Seaman Realty and Management Co., had the listing since April 2016 and actually reached a deal with a New York buyer in August, but it fell through.

A deed for the sale was recorded Monday with the Duval County Clerk of Court, along with a $2.7 million mortgage written by TD Bank.

The structure was built in 1902 as part of Jacksonville’s rebound from the Great Fire of 1901.

It was designed by architect J.H.W. Hawkins, who also designed the Bostwick Building a block west that’s being transformed into the Cowford Chophouse.
