Charles R. Clark was a familiar face and respected name to NEFBA members.
His contribution to NEFBA’s Sales and Marketing was profound and he was affectionately known as the Godfather of SMC.
Charlie’s influence was far beyond NEFBA, Florida and the United States.
Among his contributions to the real estate industry were his participation in creating training programs leading to certifications including certified site agent, advanced certified site agent and master in residential marketing.
He was known internationally as an authority on housing and building statistics, trends, analyses and forecasts.
Among his many honors were NEFBA’s Arnold Tritt Achievement Award (2015) and induction into the Florida Home Builders Association’s Hall of Fame (2012).
Charlie lost his battle with cancer Dec. 10.
One of his last wishes was, in his own words, “to encourage you to do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone less fortunate.”
A Celebration of Life service for Charlie will be 11 a.m., Feb. 17, at Christ Episcopal Church, 400 San Juan Drive, Ponte Vedra Beach.
NEFBA extends sympathy and condolences to Charlie’s wife Trudy (also a NEFBA member) and his entire family.
Charlie Clark is missed, but his legacy will live on through his influence on the lives of many and his significant contributions to the real estate industry.
