Young lawyers had the opportunity to vote online before the event or to cast their ballot in person at the Blue Room.  The election prompted many young attorneys in and around Jacksonville to compete for a spot on the board. The group of young attorneys vying for the open seats had impressive credentials and have been very involved in Bar activities.

Newly sworn-in YLS President Alexandria Hill announced that the following members would be joining officers Jessica Mathis, Alessandro Apolito and Amanda Thomas on the board:

Seat 1:  Andrew Scott

Seat 3:  Megan Moon

Seat 4:  Courtney Gaver

Seat 5:  Dave Chauncey

The YLS welcomes our newest board members and looks forward to what the future holds. I want to encourage all members potentially interested in running for a seat next year to get involved in the YLS and JBA.
