On May 11, Builders Care partnered with Keller Williams Atlantic Partners for the Keller Williams RED Day.

RED Day – Renew, Energize and Donate – is Keller Williams Realty’s annual day of service.

Each year since 2009 on the second Thursday of May, associates celebrate Mo Anderson’s birthday by spending the day away from their businesses serving worthy organizations and causes in their communities.

Mo Anderson is described as “the heart and truly beloved leader of Keller Williams Realty.” Her personal integrity and unending drive are touchstones that have made Keller Williams Realty one of the most successful franchises in real estate history. Because of her constant commitment to that culture, RED Day is dedicated in honor of Keller Williams Realty’s Vice Chairman of the Board, Mo Anderson.

“Last year we teamed up with the Southside office as well as the Jax Beach Keller Williams office to paint three homes in the New Town area where Builders Care was contracted by HabiJax to do critical home renovations,” Justin Brown, Builders Care executive director, said. “This year, the Keller Williams Southside office was looking for a project where all of the employees could be together on one job site. One of my suggestions was the Independent Living Resource Center.”

The ILRC is dedicated to empowering people with a disability to live independent, self-empowered lives. Their mission is to provide opportunity for all through self-determination and equal access. It is part of a national network of more than 400 centers for independent living. It has been operating in Northeast Florida since 1978.

“Builders Care was proud to be able to join the ILRC in helping individuals reach their unique goals for independence,” Brown said. “It’s our goal as well to see that all individuals within our reach have safe housing, access in and out of their dwellings and to achieve the independence that so many of us take for granted.”
