Both closed Corner Bakery Café locations have been leased now that Regency Centers Corp. has signed First Watch to take the location at Brooklyn Station on Riverside.
Regency Centers spokesman Eric Davidson said First Watch will renovate the 4,000-square-foot space at 192 Riverside Ave., but he did not know when it will open.
First Watch, The Daytime Café, operates three locations in Jacksonville and has two more planned in addition to Brooklyn Station.
One of those two is in the Shoppes at Bartram Park, another Regency Centers property.
First Watch is a breakfast-lunch concept.
The lease fills the 50,000-square-foot Brooklyn Station, which is anchored by The Fresh Market and includes Burrito Gallery, Zoës Kitchen, BurgerFi, Grabbagreen and other tenants.
The two area Corner Bakery restaurants closed Dec. 2. Fresh-Mex & Co. intends to lease the Southpoint location at 7111 Bonneval Road and open by early June.
