Corner Bakery Café’s two locations have been leased now that Regency Centers Corp. has signed First Watch to take the location at Brooklyn Station on Riverside.

Regency Centers spokesman Eric Davidson said Sarasota-based First Watch will renovate the 4,000-square-foot space at 192 Riverside Ave., but he did not immediately know when it will open.

First Watch, The Daytime Café, operates three locations in Jacksonville and has two more planned in addition to Brooklyn Station.

One of those two is in the Shoppes at Bartram Park, another Regency Centers property.

First Watch is a breakfast-brunch-lunch concept with about 300 restaurants in more than 26 states, including about 200 First Watch restaurants and three other brands. A spokeswoman did not respond to a call or an email.

The lease fills the 50,000-square-foot Brooklyn Station, which is anchored by The Fresh Market and includes Burrito Gallery, Zoës Kitchen, BurgerFi, Grabbagreen and other tenants.

The two area Corner Bakery restaurants closed Dec. 2. Fresh-Mex & Co. intends to lease the Southpoint location at 7111 Bonneval Road and open by early June

First Watch operates at 13470 Beach Blvd., 11111-14 San Jose Blvd. and in Jacksonville Beach at 544-4 Marsh Landing Parkway.

It also plans to open at 4490 Southside Blvd. and 13820 Old St. Augustine Road at Bartram Park.
