Jacksonville’s minor league baseball team has a new name, but there was still the same fun to be had at the Jacksonville Baseball Grounds with the Jumbo Shrimp and the Clay Builders Council.
More than 250 NEFBA members enjoyed an evening at the ballgame April 13 for Thirsty Thursday with the Jumbo Shrimp hosted by the Clay Builders Council.
It was a family affair, with many members bringing spouses and kids to enjoy the game and perfect weather. Ticket holders were invited to enjoy all the hamburgers and hot dogs they could eat. Everyone enjoyed watching the Shrimp beat the Chattanooga Lookouts 5-3, including back-to-back home runs from the home team.
A special thanks from the Clay Builders to sponsors of the event including Construction Specialties of North Florida, Sherwin-Williams, Builders First Source and Partridge Well Drilling.
