Decorated model homes open at Tamaya

Six new decorated model homes, a clubhouse and entrance are now open at Tamaya, a master-planned community off Beach Boulevard midway between Kernan and Hodges boulevards in Jacksonville.

Tamaya’s 10,000-square-foot Residents Club includes a great room, catering kitchen, clubroom, covered porch and outdoor patio. It offers two pools, a cabana and nearly 5,000 square feet of fitness space.

The step-down pool area features a tower slide, bathhouse, competition pool and zero-entry family pool.

The fitness center is staffed by professionals trained in yoga, pilates and barre. A community lifestyle director plans activities and events for residents.

Tamaya also has multipurpose paths for walking, jogging, biking and a tennis center.

ICI Homes’ new model row is in the community’s Bella Nika neighborhood.

Homes at Tamaya range from 1,800 to 6,000 square feet with prices from the $300,000s to $800,000s. 

New models on display at RiverTown

Mattamy Homes RiverTown in St. John County has opened six new decorated model homes.

The builder also introduced The RiverClub, the community’s $6 million amenity center on the St. Johns River. Opening in late 2017, the amenity center will include a 5,100-square-foot clubhouse, pool, river boardwalk, children’s playground, second kayak launch, event lawn and more.

The model homes at RiverTown range from 1,700 to more than 3,500 square feet.

More than 30 home designs, including new floorplans and homesites, are available at RiverTown and priced from the $240,000s. The RiverTown Welcome Center is at 90 Lanier St.

Realtors earn Green Designation

Realtors Karen Peil, Nancy Estevez, Kevin Fallon and Beth Robinson of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty have been awarded the National Association of Realtors Green Designation, certifying their expertise in environmental and energy-efficient technologies related to the home.

The associates of the company’s St. Augustine branch office earned the designation after completing required course work. The courses ensure designees gain comprehensive knowledge of green homes and issues of sustainability regarding real estate and homeownership.

NAR’s Green Designation was created in response to the growth of consumer awareness regarding the benefits of resource-efficient homes and buildings.

Agents named Five Star Professionals

Nine agents with Davidson Realty Inc. have been named as 2017 Five Star Professionals.

The agents, Ron Savarese, Joanne Samuelson, Michelle Gonzalez, Suzy Evans, Mirtha Barzaga, Lynn Whitley, Liz Pappaceno, Margherite Myers and Jock Ochiltree, scored in the top 3 percent for client satisfaction out of all Northeast Florida real estate agents and brokers.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida ranks 24th in nation

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty was recognized as a Top 25 affiliate in the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices network at the company’s annual sales convention in Phoenix.

The Northeast Florida real estate firm ranks No. 24 nationally. The top 50 companies in the company’s network are known as the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Elite Circle.

Report ranks Watson No. 23 in nation

Watson Realty Corp. is among the top 25 companies in the U.S. based on transaction sides, according to the 2017 REAL Trends 500 Report.

Watson closed 16,188 transactions in 2016, landing the company at No. 23 in the country and No. 1 of all independently owned brokerages in Florida. Watson also ranked No. 40 in the nation and No. 3 for independently owned brokerages in Florida based on sales volume, with more than $3.2 billion in sales for 2016.

The REAL Trends 500 is an annual research report that identifies the country’s largest and most successful residential real estate firms as ranked by closed transaction sides and separately by closed sales volume.
