The River Club told members Saturday it will re-open Monday with regular lunch service.

The private dining and event club on the top floors of Wells Fargo Center will “be back in full swing” Tuesday with lunch service, the Vue34 lounge and dinner in the St. Johns Dining Room, said the email from General Manager Chris Miller.

Basement parking in the Wells Fargo Building remains closed, he said. The building is extending valet parking on the ramp at the front of the building at 1 Independent Drive for both lunch and dinner service, he said.

When valet parking is full, members will be directed to the JAX Center nine-story parking garage at 1 W. Bay St. across from the Wells Fargo Center.

The Downtown Wells Fargo Center closed three weeks ago because of Hurricane Irma floodwaters in the two-level basement, which affected the building’s systems and equipment.

After repairs, the building began re-opening to tenants Wednesday.

The River Club operates on the 34th and 35th floors, the top tenant levels in the building.

Miller also told members that the October club newsletter they received included events for the month, such as the Young Executive Leadership Luncheon and the St. Johns Dinner Club on Wednesday. The Friday night seafood buffet also returns.

Jacksonville-based Gate Petroleum Co. owns The River Club and Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club, which accommodated River Club functions during cleanup.
