Live Bakery at 327 E. Bay St. plans to reopen this week.
The bakery, which closed July 26, held a soft opening Monday.
Owners John Ferra and his wife, Madison, said the bakery-restaurant will continue to offer made-from-scratch items with an added focus on donuts and bagels. Jody Petronella, who has more than 20 years of experience in food service and catering,
joined the bakery as chef. Petronella said they plan to add a bread rack and other improvements.
