Noah’s Event Venue, which intends to build and open one of its traditional centers at Southside Quarter in Jacksonville, is closer to developing the project.
The city issued a concurrency reservation certificate for the 8,181-square-foot project on 1.38 acres at 11507 Village Crossing Drive, off Gate Parkway at southwest Interstate 295 and Butler Boulevard.
Noah’s Event Venue in Milford Center, Ohio, is the agent and Rockwell Jacksonville LLC of Sandy, Utah, is the property owner.
The traditional venues are indoor centers.
Brandon Jensen, vice president of construction, said the locations will open eight to 10 months after construction begins. He said the company was obtaining a building permit.
The noahseventvenue.com site promotes the Jacksonville location as under construction and a 19-minute drive from the airport “and surrounded by impressive urban views and sunny beaches.”
“Noah’s in Jacksonville, Florida is the ideal southern venue to celebrate your wedding day, corporate event, family celebration, fundraiser, bar mitzvah, holiday party, or other special event,” it says.
Rockwell paid $1.2 million for the property in March.
Noah’s Event Venue, based in South Jordan, Utah, operates more than 60 indoor and outdoor venues in 24 states. The website shows almost 50 traditional indoor sites, with six under construction.
