More dining replaces a space that was occupied by a dessert counter near the back of Bistro Aix. New paint and subway tiles were added.
The Bistro Aix dining room was given a “light refresh” according owners Jacque Klempf and Fraser Burns.
“Bar X” also received a facelift with new lighter colors and new seating options.
The Bistro Aix bar will serve a mix of traditional and French-inspired cocktails, new and old. The restaurant also is establishing new happy hour specials.
New décor can be seen throughout Bistro Aix and the bar area including new light fixtures.

Bistro Aix will reopen Feb. 8 after months of construction. The restaurant received 28 inches of flooding inside.
Inside, Bistro Aix will feature a lighter color pallet, which includes natural woods, tans and exposed brick in addition to new paint and flooring.
Familiar furniture from the restaurant was saved after being damaged by Hurricane Irma. Instead of the origional dark wood finish, the chairs were restored to a natural wood to brighten up the restaurant.
