Sola apartments sold for $59.6 million

Two-year-old community purchased by New York-based investment group.

Sola apartments at 8074 Gate Parkway W. is under new ownership.

Built in 2016, the community was purchased by Beachwold Residential LLC of New York City under the name of GW Sola Apartments LLC. 

Beachwold paid $59.6 million for Sola, acquiring it from Sola Jacksonville LLC. It includes 330 units in six, four-story buildings 

Sola offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Its website has been deactivated, but according to apartments.com, sizes range from 529 square feet to 1,288 square feet and rents from $1,043 to $2,002 per month.

Community amenities include a gated entrance, resort-style pool, pet park, dog wash station, fitness center and playground.

Interior features include stainless steel appliances, island kitchens in some units, walk-in closets, hardwood-style flooring, granite countertops and washers and dryers. 

According to its website, Beachwold Residential LLC builds, owns and manages 57 properties and 15,000 multifamily units in Connecticut, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey and Tennessee.

The 40-year-old company operates as a subsidiary of Tarragon Corp.
