When you combine 33 of the area’s top homebuilders, 91 new construction homes and 65 highly rated communities in Northeast Florida, you have the recipe for the area’s largest, best-organized and most-anticipated open house.

The 2018 NEFBA Parade of Homes marks the 60th year of the annual springtime event, drawing large crowds each year.

It is a convenient way for potential homebuyers to shop and compare builders, homes and communities.

It also is a marketing opportunity for participating builders to meet potential customers face-to-face over a brief period of time. Some contacts may result in immediate sales, others may return later to builders’ models that impressed them during the Parade.

This year, the Parade included an extra incentive for those touring homes to act sooner rather than later.

Buyers who signed a contract for an official Parade of Homes floor plan during the Parade were entered in a contest to win a $10,000 outdoor living package from Construction Specialties of North Florida.

Model homes were open daily noon-6 p.m. April 14-29 in the four-county area of Clay (three homes), Duval (20 homes), Nassau (12 homes) and St. Johns (56 homes).

The Parade of Homes guidebook was mailed to more than 50,000 First Coast residences and was available in four Wawa locations.

Information about the Parade also was available on the app, Parade of Homes Jax, and online at paradeofhomesjax.com.
