Plans for a 296-unit apartment community on two parcels in South Jacksonville were submitted Wednesday to the St. Johns River Water Management District.
Site plans show the project, Artesia at Gran Park, would comprise four buildings along both sides of Citicards Way. Each side would have two buildings and 148 units. Both sides would have a pool, dog park and recreational areas.
Property owner DD Jax-FLGR LLC, a subsidiary of Davis Development of Stockbridge, Georgia, also manages the Vera Luxury Living Apartments on Gran Bay Parkway near the proposed Artesia site.
Davis Development officials did not respond to requests for comment.
The northern parcel is 7.3 acres and the southern property is 7.8 acres. Plans show a total of 125 one-bedroom units, 144 two-bedroom and 27 three-bedroom units. There is about 44,000 square feet of recreational space and 592 parking spaces.
Vera apartment rents start at $1,184 per month for a one-bedroom unit and $1,734 a month for a three-bedroom.
Baker Design Build of Jacksonville is listed as the civil engineer and GLA Architects of Atlanta is listed as the architect.
