St. Johns Town Center landlord Simon announced Monday that Sur La Table will open this fall in a 5,054-square-foot location next to California Pizza Kitchen.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sur La Table to St. Johns Town Center,” said General Manager Valerie Beaubrun, in a news release.
Sur La Table will open in part of the space vacated by Williams-Sonoma.
“It was a natural fit, as the brand combines one-of-a-kind, culinary retail offerings with the experiential cooking classes that members of the Jacksonville community can enjoy amongst family and friends,” Beaubrun said.
Founded in Seattle’s Pike Place Market, Sur La Table has expanded to more than 130 stores across the U.S.
It sells cookware, kitchen electrics, tools, gadgets, and tableware sourced from around the world, said the release.
Sur La Table offers hands-on cooking classes. Each year, more than 600,000 people attend Sur La Table cooking classes across the country.
