Restaurant Notes: Chipotle to Oakleaf, Panera to St. Johns, Village Bread opens

Campeche Bay closes at the Beach.

St. Johns County issued a permit for construction of a 3,501-square-foot Panera Bread and drive-thru at 35 Capital Green Drive in Nocatee Town Center at a cost of $400,000.

Chipotle to Oakleaf

Chipotle Mexican Grill is building-out at Oakleaf Town Center. Prime Retail Services Inc. is the contractor for the $387,568 project in 1,962 square feet of space at 9671 Argyle Forest Blvd.

Campeche Bay closes at the Beach

Campeche Bay Cantina announced it closed its Jacksonville Beach restaurant at 127 First Ave. N. on Wednesday after 33 years in business, starting with the original location in 1986 in Arlington.

Two of the three owners are retiring.  Campeche Bay opened the Jacksonville Beach restaurant in 1998 and closed the Arlington site in 2007. 

Village Bread Cafe to Southbank

Village Bread Cafe opened on the ground floor of Riverplace Tower at 1301 Riverplace Blvd.
