Hotel notes: Weekly Inn coming to former Kings Inn site in Arlington

Fort Seven LLC filed a fictitious name with the state for the Weekly Inn at 8016 Arlington Expressway.

The site is the former Kings Inn and was built in 1959 as a Holiday Inn. Fort Seven LLC is led by Juan Carlos Delaney of Miami.

Fort Seven LLC paid almost $2.74 million for the 4.45-acre property July 16.

It bought the almost 59,000-square-foot property from Shriji Bless LLC. The loopnet.com listing says that of 130 rooms, 110 are active and four are used for storage.

There is a convenience store on the premises and conference room space is available. The restaurant can be leased in the future, it said.

Best Airport Inn in North Jacksonville

Rore Airport Hotel LLC paid $2.55 million for the Best Airport Hotel at 1077 Airport Road.

It bought the 5.04-acre property from Radhe Hotel 294 Inc.

The hotel was built in 1987. Lurton Capital LLC issued a $2 million mortgage to Rore Airport Hotel.

Jacksonville Marriott in Southside

The city issued a permit for Solid Rock Construction Group of Bradenton to renovate the public spaces at the Jacksonville Marriott at 4670 Salisbury Road at a cost of $638,000.
