Alexandra Stafford joined Delegal & Poindexter as an associate attorney.

She worked for the firm as a law clerk since 2018 and was promoted after graduating from Florida Coastal School of Law and passing the Florida Bar Exam.

Stafford’s practice focuses on representing public and private employees in employment litigation and professional license defense.

She served as managing editor of the Florida Coastal Law Review. During law school, Stafford served as an intern for U.S. District Judge Marcia Morales Howard and a law clerk at the Pajcic & Pajcic and Delegal & Poindexter firms.

Parde joins Jackson Lewis

Kort Parde has joined the Jackson Lewis Jacksonville office as an associate attorney. She will represent employers in workplace law matters.

A former assistant general counsel for the city, Parde graduated in 2004 from the University of Tulsa College of Law.

McMillan, Self join Driver McAfee

Two associate attorneys have joined Driver McAfee Hawthorne & Diebenow.

Carter McMillan is a 2015 graduate of Florida State University College of Law, where he was managing editor of the Business Review and senior member of the Law Review.

McMillan will practice in the Information Technology and Corporate Law Group.

Carley Self graduated in 2019 from Stetson University of College of Law (J.D.) and Stetson University College of Business (MBA).

She will practice corporate law and has experience drafting health care and estate planning documents.

Law clerk vacancy

U.S. District Judge Brian Davis has a vacancy for a judicial law clerk beginning in August for a one-year term, renewable up to four years.

Judicial law clerks research issues of law, write extensively, assist with preparation for trials and other court proceedings and act as adviser, among other duties.

Applicants must be a law school graduate at the time of appointment. Bar membership and post-graduation litigation experience or previous clerkship experience is preferred
