• The Franklin Street commercial real estate firm added capital advisory to its North Florida services. Laura Gonzales will lead the regional division as director of capital markets, operating out of the Jacksonville office. Gonzales will specialize in the origination and placement of debt and equity for income-producing real estate investments. She previously served as vice president and senior relationship manager for TD Bank in Jacksonville and also held senior executive positions with BBVA Compass and Bank of America.
• The North Florida Transportation Planning Organization board elected its executive team through December 2020: Chair James K. Johns, St. Johns County commissioner; Vice Chair Charlie Latham, Jacksonville Beach mayor; and Treasurer Wayne Bolla, Clay County commissioner.
In addition, Robert Companion, Nassau County’s engineer, will chair the Technical Coordinating Committee and Reuben Franklin of the City of St. Augustine will serve as vice chair.
• Austin Chapman, St. Johns County citizen, will chair the Citizens Advisory Committee, while Bo Norton, a Clay County citizen, will serve as vice chair.
