The St. Johns River Water Management District issued permits to Sawmill Timber LLC for a stormwater management system and for mass grading of about 1,066 acres at southeast Butler Boulevard and Interstate 295 in South Jacksonville.
Sawmill Timber, owned by members of the Skinner family, said in the application the mixed-use project will be developed in seven phases over the next 20 years.
The application seeks to fill wetland areas, build two roadways with wetland crossings, 22 stormwater management facilities and clearing and mass grading of the remaining upland area.
Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is preparing space for its San Marco offices at 1639 Atlantic Blvd.
The city is reviewing a permit application for a $350,000 build-out of 3,960 square feet. ADCS Clinics LLC of Maitland also applied for a certificate of use for the space.
Howard Lee, director of real estate services for Advanced Dermatology, said in December the move is expected in April. The office will relocate from 1551 Riverside Ave., where it is spread among three historic buildings with limited parking.
