Robert Massey, president and CEO of the Jacksonville Symphony, is leaving the organization. Massey led the Jacksonville Symphony since January 2015. The Symphony board of directors will conduct the search for a successor.
Brendan Campion, APR Energy director of business development, joined the Career Resources Center advisory board at Jacksonville University. Campion’s main focus is to promote the center to local businesses and guide the center’s development.
The Community Foundation of Northeast Florida added George “Buddy” Schulz, Jr. and George Egan to its board of trustees. Schulz is a partner with Holland & Knight in Jacksonville and chair of the Public and Charitable Services Department. Egan is president and executive officer of the Reinhold Corp., a land-timber management and investment holding company.
Three members were added to Downtown Vision’s board of directors. The nonprofit provides advocacy and services for a 90-block business improvement district. Joining are:
Dawn Southworth, general manager of Downtown’s Omni Jacksonville Hotel. Before joining Omni she was director of operations for the San Diego Marriott La Jolla Hotel. Zach Ashourian, co-owner of Ash Properties, a local real estate development company. Ashourian previously was a real estate broker in San Francisco. Ryan Mcintyre, senior vice president of strategic initiative at VyStar Credit Union. Mcintyre joined VyStar in 2018 from Regions Bank, where he was Jacksonville city president.
Jim Rienhardt, president of JR Government & Community Solutions, joined the Timucuan Parks Foundation board of directors. Rienhardt worked for the National Park Service for 29 years and has experience in park recreation management.
