Jacksonville-based Pet Paradise relocated its corporate headquarters to San Marco and bought five properties at the end of 2018.
“Pet Paradise is growing rapidly to meet the increased demand for quality and convenient pet services for dogs and cats across the United States,” said Fernando Acosta-Rua, Pet Paradise CEO, in a news release.
Pet Paradise provides boarding, day camp, grooming and veterinary services.
Acosta-Rua said the company ended the year with 40 locations in operation or under development in nine states.
The new corporate office at 1551 Atlantic Blvd. features an open concept, natural light and a modern feel, said the release. The company relocated from offices near its pet resort along University Boulevard.
Pet Paradise employs more than 1,000 associates companywide. The five property acquisitions are in Clay County (Oakleaf), Fort Myers, Parkland, Atlanta and Austin, Texas. Construction will begin this year.
