Retail notes: RaceTrac in Atlantic North, Circle K in East Arlington

Flooring America, Goodwill, Sur La Table and Mayport Commons updates.

The city is reviewing a permit application for Venture Construction Co. to build a RaceTrac Petroleum Co. gas station and convenience store on 1.97 acres at 11585 Atlantic Blvd. in the Atlantic North shopping center.

Construction includes a canopy and dumpster.

The city approved site clearing June 9 by Target Contractors Inc.

Circle K in East Arlington

The city is reviewing a permit application for demolition of the Circle K store at 12745 Atlantic Blvd.

Circle K Stores Inc. intends to build a 5,314-square-foot gas station and convenience store along with a car wash on the 2.51-acre site at Atlantic Boulevard and Girvin Road.

The project cost is listed at $5.55 million.

Flooring America to Mandarin

The city is reviewing a permit for Grandeur Homes to build an almost 9,000-square-foot Flooring America store on 2.07 acres at 12041 San Jose Blvd. in Mandarin. 

Goodwill to Oakleaf

The city approved a permit for Target Contractors Inc. to build a 16,447-square-foot Goodwill Industries of North Florida store on 1.15 acres at 8460 Merchants Way in Oakleaf Station.

Mayport Commons in Mayport

 The city is reviewing plans for Mayport Commons on 11.73 acres at 2009 Andreu Road.

The almost 16,000-square-foot building comprises 5,000 square feet of retail space and almost 11,000 square feet of warehouse space at Mayport, Dutton Island and Andreu roads.

Sur La Table to Town Center

The city issued a permit Monday for Retail Construction Services Inc. to improve 5,049 square feet of space in the former Williams-Sonoma store in St. Johns Town Center for Sur La Table at a cost of $717,165.

The address is 4712 River City Drive, No. 109.

Warby Parker, a fashion eyeglass retailer, is leasing the rest of the Williams-Sonoma space.
