Retail notes: Wawa at Bartram Market; tire store for Merrill Road; Circle K car wash at Girvin

Barron’s Wholesale Tire buys land in Buck Business Park in Arlington.

 The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing plans for a Wawa gas station and convenience store on 2.03 acres at Bartram Market.

Bartram Market LLC of Ponte Vedra Beach is the developer. The 5,636-square-foot convenience store will have eight fueling stations at Race Track Road and Bartram Market Drive.

England-Thims & Miller Inc. is the civil engineer.

Tire store on Merrill Road

Barron’s Wholesale Tire, through BWT Property Management Inc., bought 1.23 acres in the Buck Business Park in Arlington for $625,000.

Previous owner AM PM Property LLC requests to rezone the site at northeast Merrill Road and Wompi Drive from commercial community/general-1 to planned unit development for a tire store. L. Charles Mann is the agent. 

Circle K car wash

The city is reviewing a permit application for a Circle K car wash at Girvin Road and Atlantic Boulevard where Circle K is removing a gas station and convenience store and developing a new one.

The car wash project, 12743 Atlantic Blvd., is shown at $400,000.
