• The city issued a concurrency reservation certificate for the second phase of Above Athletics at 14797 Philips Highway for 18,611 square feet of office space on 7 acres. The city is reviewing civil plans. LIT Property Services is the property owner. Taylor & White Inc. is the engineering consultant. Jay Glatting, who represents leasing and management for Above Athletic Center, said the expansion would encompass medical, sports and health and wellness. He said he hopes to start construction in a few months for completion by September.
• UF Health is preparing for its wellness center at Wildlight in Nassau County. The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing an application for development of an almost 36,500-square-foot building on 5.54 acres at Wildlight Avenue. GAI Consultants is the civil engineer. The wellness center is affiliated with UF Health and Landmark Healthcare.
• Mayo Clinic is adding about 414 parking spaces at its Southside campus. The existing site consists primarily of cleared land and pine trees, according to the St. Johns River Water Management District permit application. It’s an expansion of Lot E-3 between William M. Davis Parkway and Zumbro Drive.
